Truthful dreams
These occur after two-thirds of the night has passed, close to dawn (Sahar), when angels are present. Such dreams are consistent and trustworthy unless the dreamer is in a state of impurity or neglects spiritual practices like remembering Allah.
Lying dreams
These are typically seen at the beginning of the night and are influenced by disobedient or negative forces. They are inconsistent, deceptive, and generally offer no benefit.

Soul's Ascension During Sleep
When believers sleep, their souls are raised towards Allah.
If death is ordained for them, their souls are positioned in the Gardens of Heaven.
If not, their souls are sent back to their bodies accompanied by trusted angels.
Dealing with Disturbing Dreams
If someone has a disturbing dream, they should:
Seek refuge in Allah using a specific invocation.
Recite Surah Al-Fatiha, Al-Mu’awwidhatain (Surah Al-Falaq and Surah An-Nas), and Surah Al-Ikhlas.
Spit three times on their right side.
This practice, derived from the advice given to the Prophet by Jibrael, ensures that the disturbing dream does not harm the dreamer.
